The Reppy Institute gives thanks to Marion Held for the gift of a raku mask

Viridescent 2015

Viridescent 2015 is one of Marion Held’s raku mask series and one of the eleven of her masks that were on display at Cornell as part of the Shadows and Ashes exhibit in fall 2018.  Following the exhibit Marion gave the shiny green raku-fired clay mask (5.5 X 4 X 3.5 inch) to the Reppy Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies.  It is on display in 130 Uris Hall where it can be viewed along with the Shadow and Ashes exhibit catalog that includes several photos of the mask when it was on display at the Big Red Barn.
